We have been exploring different textures this week. We made some playdough with Nicola and then added some leaves, sticks and small twigs that we had collected from the garden. We used the sticks as rollers to flatten the playdough and pressed leaves into it. We made marks in it using the twigs and some of the children made snowmen with the playdough and used the twigs for arms. This activity helped to promote the children’s curiosity and creativity using natural materials that we had found in the garden.
