A few weeks ago the Tweenie children planted some sunflower seeds to take home and some to keep at nursery. The children have been watering the seeds at nursery and watching them as they start to grow. This week the staff and children took the small sunflower plants out to the garden and replanted them. We are keen to watch them grow into tall sunflowers and see if they can grow bigger than some of the children. We would be grateful if parents could take a photograph of their child with the sunflower at home once it has started to flower so we can see who can grow the tallest sunflower. watch this space for more information
