More Building news

We are still very interested in the building site across the road. The children had noticed that there was a second digger that was much smaller. We popped across to see Graeme for a chat. He told us that the big digger was shaking the building next door and the lady’s pictures were falling off the wall! They had to swap to a smaller digger to keep the building safe.
Later in the week, Graeme popped over with an old newspaper and coin from the time capsule they had found. It was fascinating to see the old news and smell the paper – it was like old books! We had history in our hands, so exciting 1887 was 131 years ago.
