Letter Hunt

This week the older children went on a ‘letter hunt’ around the town. It is amazing how many letters and words we found on the High street and surrounding area! Tesco, Greggs, Lowport Primary, Blackness Road just to name a few. We were surprised to find so many letters and words and they all gave us information.
This is a great way to introduce to young children the importance of literacy and numeracy, to discuss letters, words and numbers and have fun! We also met some very friendly dogs and people when we were out on the High street.
