Frog Spawn

Well our playroom feels a bit empty as our chicks have gone back to the farm.
This week the children have been keen to check on the progress of our frog spawn in the pond. The adult frogs seem to have gone and left the spawn to hatch. Some of the children are curious to know where the big frogs go. We are going to get in touch with our friend Lily, the Ranger, to ask her to explain.
We have decided to bring a little of the frog spawn into the nursery to see it grow into tadpoles but have explained to the children it must go back to the pond as soon as the tails begin to grow.
