This week the children have been very interested in how colours change when they are mixed together. Louise was telling the children about a fabulous experiment – wax crayons are heated and start to melt and mix together. The children were very keen to try this. It made a fantastic colourful picture. We had a big chat about how artists mix paint to create their pictures and have decided to research Jackson Pollock who was famous for bright colourful art works. watch this space for budding artists of the future.
