Chinese New Year

This week the older children have been learning all about Chinese New Year. We looked at Chinese writing and tried some of our own. The story of the animals was very interesting and we learned how the rat managed to race across the river.
We made Chinese dragons and we all got a Chinese gift wallet with a little present inside.
Luyi’s mummy came into nursery and made some fabulous treats with the children.
It is a fabulous learning experience for the children to learn about different cultures and how people celebrate different events.
