Baking Fun

The Tweenie children would like to thank one of our grandparents, Granny Lou Lou, for coming into nursery today to do some baking with the children.
She helped the children to make some yummy fruit rock cakes. The children helped to weigh out, measure and count out the ingredients. Then the children helped to mix it all together and everyone had a turn to spoon some out onto the baking tray. The cakes were then taken to the kitchen and popped into the oven.
The cakes tasted amazing and the children ate them all up – so sorry mummies and daddies but there is no cakes to take home today. We had lots of fun and giggles with Granny Lou Lou.
If any of our parents or grandparents would like to come in and share some of their talents with the children to take part in an activity with the children, then please let a member of staff know.
