The children were very excited this week to welcome some new visitors to the room. Following our interest over the last few weeks in pets and finding bugs in the nursery garden we now have 5 caterpillars. This week the children have been learning about the life cycle and what is going to happen to the caterpillars. We listened to the story about ‘The Hungry Caterpillar’ and had a visit to the library to see if we could borrow some books about butterflies and caterpillars. We will keep you posted over the next few weeks about how our caterpillars are changing.
