Today the children have been celebrating ‘Burns Day’. We have looked at different types of tartan and some of the children went on to weave their own tartan with card. We did some food tasting – shortbread, haggis and vegetarian haggis. We looked at some Burn’s poems and tried to learn them although some of them had some Scottish words that we sounded really funny.
