Northern Lights

The children on the second floor had fun at the beginning of the week tracking the aeroplane that Louise was on travelling to Vancouver. The children had fun guessing where her plane was on it’s journey by sticking paper onto the globe on the smartboard. Just before the nursery closed for the night the children discovered that Louise was flying over Alaska. The rest of the week the children researched different things about Canada and Alaska and were fascinated with the pictures of the Northern Lights. We used bright colours of paint and painted a large picture of the Northern Lights to display in the nursery.
