More Caterpillars

This week the children on the second floor have also been interested in caterpillars and butterflies. Our caterpillars have arrived – we can’t wait to see them grow, make their cocoons and eventually turn into beautiful butterflies.
Some of the children have been interested in spiders and their babies. So we did some research. Did you know a spider can have between 2 -1000 babies? They make a special ‘silk bed’ for them and then a ‘silk blanket’ to keep them extra safe. We made some fabulous spider pictures.
