Heuristic Play

After pinching the brush from outside the kitchen the babies enjoyed exploring the brush heuristic basket this week. The enjoyed playing with a variety of different brushes such as hair brushes, tooth brushes, dish brushes and small sweeping brushes. The children also enjoyed playing with the threading reels during messy play with the flour doing mark making and banging them together and giggling as they were getting covered in flour. The staff were just as messy covered in flour at the end of the night.
The toddler children have been extending their imaginations this week with lots of role play – dressing up, bathing the dolls, playing with playdough to make models, cakes, sausages and peas.
