About First Adventures Nursery

Our Philosophy

It is our aim to provide the highest standards of excellence in nursery care, early learning and education for our children where each child is welcomed, valued, secure, stimulated and encouraged to develop at their own pace. To do this we put the child at the centre – regarding each child as an individual whose experience is of central importance. We recognise and explore their interests and aptitudes and offer appropriate activities to encourage success and achievement.

We believe in the importance of working in partnership with parents and we encourage both parents and children to regard the nursery as an extension of the family home.

Our children are nurtured and assisted by our high quality and dedicated staff to develop intellectually, emotionally, socially, creatively and physically to their full potential in a culture of fun, learning and equal opportunity.

We welcome children from any religious or cultural background and children with additional needs. Values based on Christian ethics form the basis for the encouragement of good citizenship and behaviour.

Our care and education provision gives children the very best start and helps our parents balance family and working life.
