Pumpkins

The children have been monitoring the pumpkin in our garden. It is getting bigger. This led to a big discussion about the pumpkins in Tesco and how big they are. We went to Tesco and bought a large, medium and small one. Back at nursery we investigated how heavy they were and measured them with our tape measure. We discovered that one of our parents is a very talented pumpkin carver! He very kindly carved some pumpkins for the children to enjoy.
