Frogs and Tadpoles

This week the children on the second floor have been closely watching the frog spawn and the tadpoles. We have noticed that the frog spawn that we brought into the nursery last week has all hatched into tadpoles and we have been watching them grow bigger as the week has gone on. In the pond outside it is still frog spawn and there is no sign of tadpoles yet. The children had some questions about frogs and tadpoles so the did some research to find the answers on the smartboard and watched a film of a tadpole changing into a frog. It was all very interesting.
