This week the children on the second floor have been very interested in the building site across the road. we have had a fabulous vantage point to see all the changes. The huge mound of rubble is being taken away and the ground is almost flat. We decided to chat to the builders and ask them some questions. Graeme was very helpful – he told us that the building was subsiding so it had to be knocked down and they discovered a capsule from 1887! He is going to let us see an old newspaper that was also found – it was all very exciting and interesting.
